The store is home to the ANTETOKOUNBROS sports brand at Athens International Airport.
It draws inspiration from urban basketball courts and the remarkable journey of the Antetokounmpo brothers – from the neighborhoods of Athens to the global arena.
Rooted in a raw, urban aesthetic, the design employs industrial materials like concrete blocks, metal surfaces, and wire mesh panels to establish an authentic and gritty architectural language. The floor plan follows a straightforward, functional layout, while linoleum flooring schematically depicts a basketball play system, evoking the sport’s dynamic mindset and rhythm.
Overhead, bright blue metal grids – reflecting the brand's signature color – are suspended from the ceiling, organizing the lighting. The interior is further animated by elements of sports equipment, including bright yellow bleachers and a custom graffiti mural by artist SAME84, created exclusively for the space.
